Looking for a fast/smashfest style weekday rides
Postby elpatron » Mon Aug 31, 2015 10:08 am
I only know of the zupps one on Sunday and it's wee bit too fast for me.
Surely there are some fast bunches over other routes in brisbane?

Worlds has now changed, it's 6:00AM from the bus stop on Coronation Drive (just after the Cribb St exit).RonK wrote:Wednesday Worlds

There's a Turbo that leaves at 5:30AM on a Tuesday morning from the Regatta or a Turbo that leaves at 5:00am just near Active Cycles. The 5:30 one is around 37-38km average while the 5:00am is probably 39-41km depending on who turns up.
Zupps may start getting bigger now that QRTS has finished, but Cycological is fast enough in sections. I'm pretty sure leaving time for Zupps is 6:30am Sunday's at the Aspley dealership.
Note, before going on any of these faster rides, ensure you've checked up on Strava for the route. The Turbo's use different routes and the Worlds Route is the old school one before the Tennis Centre bypass was created.
