Planting a post in the ground here for Sydney based riders to organise Audax rides, not just for rides around Sydney.

Minh and I will be part of Audax when the track season starts. But I don't think we'll be going on a proper Audax anytime soon.

Isn't Rheicel one too?

Good point about Rheicel, I forgot him. Yes, he's an Audaxer and also a Gold license holder.

I'm an Audax & Gold Licence holder too, but my challenge is finding time for big rides.
I started the year with big intentions but ended up get slapped by reality.

I am doing the Fitz Epic this year and been starting up the long rides. The last two weeks I have done 195 & 205km rides, the first with Andy who did the 300km ride on Saturday.

I'm looking at the 300km ride coming up and it is tempting, just so I can smash my previous longest ride of 210km. Just have to work out family logistics.

I here you queegqueg. The stars lined up for me last Saturday, but not sure when it will occur next. It was good to meet Andy too, he is a nice guy.

Andy has been making the most of the fact that his wife has been away visiting relatives :-) He's piled on a lot of km the last few weeks!

I was a bit envious of the 358km effort he did, because he rode from home to the start! I was happy just to get the double century done...first one in over 2 years!

If you do it, I'd be interested in joining. 300km with the sort of elevation that is planned seems good. I'd probably get the train to Hornsby for the start.

My previous longest ride is about 210km as well.

I'm an Audaxer from Wollongong. Is that close enough to be included in the group? :P

Are you sure it is wise to admit that you associate with known rabble rousers like Grant White & Shane Black ? :D

Are you saying that evidence of that association is black and white?

Good to see so many Sydney riders turn up on a wet & gloomy day for the Daddy, Mummy & Baby Gorges. Adding 60km for the ride from & to home made the 100 km a lot more challenging.

Have to see when I can next get a leave pass. Sadly I don't think I am up for the Newcastle overnight

I'm thinking about the Hawkesbury Howler 200 on the December 5, especially if I don't do Sydney-Newcastle Overnight again.

I might try this one too if the Family Trip to Canberra will be canned.

I'm in for the 250km option with Group A.
