Even if I did it'd be worth it. Brekkie stop in the same building complex as my office ;)

Correct, pretty crap but I love a Friday arvo M2 car park to make me feel better about $6+ per motor vehicle toll and $900M in widening that completed 2 yrs ago well-spent

[quote="AKO"]A clip from the River to Reef Charity Ride from October last year. Held every year during the Mackay River to Reef Festival. 2012 was the biggest year for the event and the largest attendance for any ride in North Queensland history with 1100 riders showing up on the day.

We've been 3 years now and this years 2015 event had 1620 riders and 80,000 dollars raised.

Not quite the level of enjoyment that Boognoss gets from his commutes, but this one generated a few comments of "Bloody cyclists slowing motorists down" on a local Facebook group". Just what I was looking for to try out my new Garmin VIRB Elite.

Hello !
This is my cycling video about the italian permanent brevet Brenta - Ortles (officially 363 km + 8088 m). Time to finish: 34 hours.
It's route is wonderful and challenging (with legendary Giro d'Italia climbs):
Pietramurata - Molveno - Passo Palade (1518 m) - Merano - Passo dello Stelvio (2760 m) -landslide on the descent - Bormio - Passo di Gavia (2621 m) - Ponte di Legno - Passo del Tonale (1883 m) - Dimaro - Passo Campo Carlo Magno (1682 m) - Stenico - Pietramurata.
I loved it very much and beside it was adventurous because on the Stelvio descent I had to climb through rocks because serious landslides caused by a strom.
During the winter I will edit a longer, ca. 40 minutes long video too and in few weeks time I will share a ca. 2 pages long travelogue about it.

I can truely suggest riding this wonderful challenge or parts of the route !

Thanks for watching !
Gabor

Either there was a tailwind this morning or I was feeling great after a spin session. Somehow I suspect the former!

Nothing startling but at least it shows the footage of my small Mobius cam, helmet mounted. I am thinking of taking the last clip to the police for unnecessary horn use...

That's mental! If the roads around here were like that I'd sell my bikes and drive.

Suspect my chain may be a tad too long. Coming down a particular descent this morning, I heard a couple of "slaps" as I went over some bumps. Didn't think anything more of it until my chain decided it only wanted to be on half the big cog. Things got a bit wobbly for a few seconds - felt like much longer!

Reminded of the sculpture at Academic Bridge, Venice so I looked it up. Yup, same artist :)
