Prologo test saddles in Adelaide

Postby Dr_Mutley » Fri Jan 27, 2012 3:51 pm

Hi all,
Does anyone know who has a test saddle program for prologo in adelaide?
Was just given a Prologo Evo TR to test by a mate and i like it, and was keen to try a few others before making a purchase.
I think Noel at The Bike Station does, and i have emailed him. Anyone else in town? (Besides Corsa - Been there wont do that again!).

Noel at BikeStation on Brighton Rd at Hove has a selection of them.
I am currently trialling the Prologo Zero-pas gel.
Have ordered one but not in stock at the moment so Noel told me to just hang on to the trial one until he gets a new supply, seems like they are popular, maybe because Green Edge use them.

Good to hear he has a zero pas gel test as that's what I was mainly interested in...

Might take my bike & trainer in next week, an try a few out....

Giday Mutley

Just wondering how you went with that saddle.
I am very happy with mine even though I initially found to be a bit hard after the one I had on the bike. Glad I listened to Noel when he told me to hang on to it and do a another 100+ k's on it, gotten used to it now that the 'sit' bones have gotten used to taking the load, no further nerve pinching issues.

Cheers

yeah no good monbeg.... was too flat for me... i was interested in trying it for the cutout, but the flatness made it a bad fit.... my ideal shape is something with a curved shell (in both directions), with a cut out...
I did also demo the scratch pro and the evo tri40, both of which i liked, and i could do lots of miles comfortably on, but nearing the end of rides i was starting to get a little numb....
so as a consequence i moved back to the sellesmps, and are demoing a couple thru noel atm.... ive ridden 800kms on the dynamic, which i like alot... altho at 138mm wide i think its just a smidge too wide for me.... going to trial the evolution next week, which is the same minimal padding saddle, but in a narrower shape (129mm).... fingers crossed :)

OK, thanks for that. Was wondering how you went.
In my case the wider or flatter saddle was better as it made the 'sit bones' take the weight.

At least when dealing with Noel you know that you will get a result.

Cheers.

+1 for Noel's expertise. I am considering a prologo saddle myself. The Concept saddle that came with the bike can get a bit uncomfortable after about 40km.
Cheers
