Power tap comp HELP!!

Postby Grant W » Mon Nov 16, 2009 8:06 pm

Hi All,

Just got my PT wired comp today, but they sent me out the user guide for the SL not the comp.

I have no idea how to set this up, distances with pick ups cadence, speed etc...

Here is what i have;
the PT Computer head
the handlebar dock and a triangular pick up connected by wire
USB dock
magnet
and a heap of cable ties
and a rectangular pick up and wire which connects onto the handle bar dock

PLEASE HELP

Thanks
Grant

you dont have to use the cadence sensor as you can get that from the hub
so you only really need the one sensor which you put as close to the hub as you can and then use the cable ties to keep the wires in check

Don't panic :) I think SL is the old name for the Comp. Its the same thing!

I got the SL manual with my Comp as well.

Correct.

Best value power meter out there, IMO.

Ignore the config crap except for the learning mode stuff for HR - everything you need to configure can be done through the software when the head unit is docked.
