Hi Folks
Long time roadie, no idea about the value of MTBs. Yes I know, its only worth what people will pay I've been offered a Specialized 2022 Levo SL alloy bike for $5K cash, its the light green frame. Its got 1100km on it, has new tyres, new fox shock seals, brakes look good and new chain. I think its XTR on the rear derailleur. It looks in good condition, no dings etc
Its had 27 charges on the battery.
I think I'm keen on the bike, I want a specialized but just curious if its on the money for $5K...I saw them advertised for $11K though the sellouts had them spanking new for $6K 18 months ago.....
Cheers..Pete

I had to Google what it was and the first hit was Jet Cycles advertising a Specialized 2022 Turbo Levo SL Comp for $5990 seemingly brand new ? Not sure if it is the same bike as it mentions SRAM NX Eagle ?
While it is good to know the number of charges on the lithium battery, it isn't a great indicator of battery condition. If the bike has sat in a hot shed or garage with a fully charged battery (ie. owner charges after infrequent uses) the battery may well be well past it's best. Lithium batteries do not like to be "stored" fully charged, especially in warm/hot conditions.
If the owner has only charged 27 times, but has ridden it enough to warrant new shock seals, tyres & chain, either there may be a dis-connect or the owner was doing a lot of riding without the battery-assist ?
