Hi I am thinking of getting a 1000w rear hub
29inch ebike conversion kit. Does anyone have any recommendations and does anyone know if CSC or Aussie Bike Kits are any good. I already have a battery in mind and I'm just looking for a kit.

I would appreciate any advice.

Well given that their website doesn't say if it's a front or rear wheel motor (looking at the 1000W kit), the company doesn't appear to offer a warranty, and the description says no refunds on that product, I'd give it a miss. But that's just me...

No advice re whether it fits or not.

BUT, it will be deemed illegal if caught using it anywhere other than private property, as it does not comply, and if you get caught, you'll be done unregistered and uninsured, and unless you have a motorbike licence, being unlicenced will add to the tally. Easily approaching $2k in fines.

So simple advice is understand the rules, and stick to them if possible.

I would stay away from online shops that don’t have any contact information except a hotmail address.

Any trustworthy retailer will have sufficient contact information and company registration information - which is absent here.. i would not pay them a cent.

Best is to go to a genuine retailer and purchase a legal ebike motor. Even better, let them confirm your bike is safe and can be converted.
