buying a helmet in Sydney

Postby zebee » Wed May 08, 2024 3:11 pm

I am thinking I want to get a helmet cam. I don't want something I have to rig a mount for on the recumbents (bike and trike) and swap between them so a helmet cam seems to be the go. [1] Especally if you don't mind looking weird [2].

Problem is that a 2 way cam is a big heavy thing and so your helmet has to fit fairly closely. I need to replace one of them, and the other one (an Aldi one) is not really the right shape for my head.

Is there anywhere in Sydney with a decent range of lids? I take size small to extra small so a brand with more than one shell size would be good!

[1] as I don't think a racktop bag is a suitable camera mount
[2] recumbent rider, so obviously I don't

Try any POC helmets, they are well made and comfortable:

Embassy Cycling up in Mosman is listed as a store and the guy who runs it is excellent.
