US Criterium Nationals First Person View

Postby trailgumby » Fri Oct 21, 2022 8:08 pm

This hour-long video shows these guys hammering each other for the whole race, first-person view. The wattages and the heart rate - especially towards the end - are eye-watering. Perfect accompaniment for an indoor sprint intervals session.

It's always interesting to watch real time data, even on your own rides.

I have been watching the NorCal videos for a while now. Always interesting and I like the analysis. Power levels are amazing as is the close proximity high speed riding.

From time to time I like to compare my own performance with that of the young guns.
Unfortunately the only similarity is the colour of my socks. :D
Incredible power out of the corners.

I watched it last night too.
I thought he is sitting in well and saving himself.
Then he goes and leads them all out on the last lap.
If I was strong enough I probably would have done something similar.

Yes high HR and heaps of power.
It was fast!

A good watch, thanks.

The top riders are another level.

Train with some of them and you see what they can do.
