Tour de France (Full Stages Recap)

Postby hcova » Fri Jul 15, 2022 12:17 am

Hello everyone.
Are there some web site or forums where I can find past stages of tour de France 2022?
I would like to watch again the full stage 11 (I mean at least 1 hour duration) and some others.
Best regards
Hernán

Go Team JV.. In a great position now, but Pogacar is a big competitor.

Caleb made it over the Alps :). One stage he was so late he wasn't on the cyclingnews results page.

A bit of a reshuffle in the Top 15, with some of the hard won gain's of Stage 11 lost in Stage 12.

Last stage , places 2 - 7 separated by 1 minute, now it's only 2-4 that is.

Still a podium spot up for grabs.

GC after Stage 12
Rnk Prev ▼▲ Rider Team Time
1 1 - VINGEGAARD Jonas Jumbo-Visma 46:28:46
2 3 ▲1 POGAČAR Tadej UAE Team Emirates 2:22
3 4 ▲1 THOMAS Geraint INEOS Grenadiers 2:26
4 2 ▼2 BARDET Romain Team DSM 2:35
5 6 ▲1 YATES Adam INEOS Grenadiers 3:44
6 5 ▼1 QUINTANA Nairo Team Arkéa Samsic 3:58
7 7 - GAUDU David Groupama - FDJ 4:07
8 11 ▲3 PIDCOCK Thomas INEOS Grenadiers 7:39
9 10 ▲1 MAS Enric Movistar Team 9:32
10 8 ▼2 VLASOV Aleksandr BORA - hansgrohe 10:06
11 9 ▼2 LUTSENKO Alexey Astana Team 10:33
12 12 - KRUIJSWIJK Steven Jumbo-Visma 14:50
13 16 ▲3 MEINTJES Louis Intermarché - WGM 15:46
14 13 ▼1 MADOUAS Valentin Groupama - FDJ 17:54
15 14 ▼1 ROGLIČ Primož Jumbo-Visma 21:37

And whilst Froome did really well, he didn't at any stage look comfortable. It looked like it was all memory & pride rather than great form.

At this level, anyone can put in a blinder for one day. Not taking anything away from his effort but where did he finish this last stage? :?:

I hope that he pulls out of these big Tours and just rides the smaller ones, because this is where his strength is now, well for a couple of years anyway.

I don't disagree Foo - on his form this year I didn't think he was capable of even one good day. Do you think he is capable of being competitive in smaller events?

Speaking of good days, a third good day for Bling. Great for him to come up first after the frustration of 2 seconds

Great ride by Matthews. JV stuck like glue to the Pog. Looking forward to the next lot of mountains.

Yes I do because you can concentrate your energy levels into a smaller time frame. Make no mistake about what an older rider can do, they may lose some speed but they retain power and endurance, as many youngins have discovered when up against a few Masters riders over a shorter distance.

Agree. Really impressed how he followed him up the climb and then went past when he felt he was done.

Phew, finally a rest day, again.

Interesting finale awaits, now that both UAE and LJV having lost some key climbing dom's, and Ineos still having a full team !

Some climbing to come !!!

Hello everyone.
Are there some web site or forums where I can find past stages of tour de France 2022?
I would like to watch again the full stage 11 (I mean at least 1 hour duration) and some others.
Best regards

Is there somewhere that doesn't need me to create an account to view this? I don't see why SBS needs that info.

They don't but they can :)

I've just taped the stages on the Fetch box. That way I can zip through the ads and the damn cooking frogs ...

Actually, all of the On-Demand sites require a login with an email

Set up a second email address, make up a name, say, Lance Armstrong, and create an account. No need to give them real info.

Just turned on the telecast tonight and Bridie O"Donnell was speaking.
Yep they are all good commentators but she is the pick. 8)

Is the Pog going to make it back in front? His climbing thus far doesn't look like it.
He will make time on the tt but needs to make up more.
Keeping us guessing, I like it.

Holy hell - that was a brilliant ride by McNulty

Rode all but two GC contenders off his wheels, so much so that Pog didn't have much to try and attack JV with. Enough to sneak past for the win though.

Initially thought that since Majka was out, that Pog may be in trouble, but turns out everyone else was instead !!

Froomedog tried the break again but that was almost a token effort and didn't last long at all.

Main changes in the top 10 was Bardet & Yates swapped places. Think the podium is now settled barring any melt-downs in the next stage.

I liked the final sprint, going all out at what looked like 6 km per hour, Thinking they were knackered at the end.
Couldn't have scripted a better last 30 km

Froome is a spent force in this tour and only ever had one good crack at a stage in him. I was happy to see him get that 3rd placing but he was never going to make an overall impact on the GC results. So don't be hatin on me because I made this amply clear 1yr ago that he would not get back to anything like he was before that horrendous crash.
