Hi - I've had a look at some websites but am struggling to get the year and model. Seems to be early 70's. Keen to understand if its original. The cranks appear to be an upgrade? Any help appreciated.

Pugs are hard to ID, the only way to manage it is to look through catalogues for the right stickers, lugs, and hopefully accessories. That said, this appears to be a 70's UO-8/AO-8 - which the vast majority of old Pugs in Aus seem to be. From memory the contrasting paint at the top of the seatstays was only used for a couple of years, so that should narrow the year down. The cranks have been swapped at some point. Looks to be in great condition though.
