I'm very cautious on ordering online now with this, I specifically check if things are in stock (if possible) and/or deal with retailers I know and trust. For cycling kit, that is Le Col who are very reliable and have excellent customer service - especially with working on the sizing. If they say something is in stock, it is as far as my experiences go. You pay more with them (unless you get the discounts), but the kit is well made and comfortable to wear.MichaelB wrote: ↑Fri Feb 04, 2022 8:28 amWhilst NeoPro cancelled my oprder and refunded the money when asked without issue, it was realising after the order that in fact the items weren't in stock that made me nervous.
We've seen more and more retailers/sellers go to the wall (Bowman a recent one) that fail due to some issues outside of their control, and this has made me nervous about ordering stuff that isn't in stock or experiences massive delays in supplying.
It must be really challenging for suppliers across the board these days and I feel for them.
Otherwise I'll try to buy stuff directly from stores if and when possible because I know I'll have it right away and won't be wondering if the delivery is lost, parked at a depot or something like that.
