These are quite different devices obviously. However they both have training functions.
In particular I'm interested in HRV. A friend has both and they seem to give results that are irreconcilable.. Apparently the sleep stuff is quite different too.
So my question is - can anyone explain the HRV difference?

Pure speculation, but if they are both using optical sensors for HR then this already introduces a larger range of results... or less accuracy. I would start there and use these two plus a HRM on a chest strap 24/7 and go through the results.
But like power meters, if you still get a baseline, is that OK or is there a limit to the tolerances where the results start to be unusable?
