Sydney weather this morning!!!

I expected to get rained on so wore a jacket - of course while the skies were threatening & roads damp, no rain fell. Only 15km though - just up to Aldi to get some new gloves.

I should have done the same, rode yesterday but passing shower meant miserable riding with some standing water.
Weather for Sydney looks to be mostly clearing up after tomorrow.

10ºC, overheating!

Actually I was wearing usual thermal jersey and jacket which is normally good for 0ºC, had to unzip the jacket.

Feels strange having no rain.

Today down at 3°C and that was later in the morning. I saw some other people reporting it was negative temperatures where they were.

Started cold. I had the Bryton instead of the Garmin (which is temp capable), so can't say what it was. Sub-10 for sure, but not so much that long sleeves, knicks and gloves didn't solve it. Even took the hat off from under the helmet about 8am.

It's another very cold morning, my watch reckons 5ºC at the moment and it's nearly 8:30am. It was even colder earlier.

3C for my commute, but an extra layer made it comfortable. The westerly meant I had a spinnaker run for the ride home.

Yeah I've been waiting till about 11am or so before I get out on the bike, it was quite brisk then too, still about only 8-9c and my legs were feeling it but i got 18kms in anyway, not much. I ended up stopping off at the station Cycles in Albury and buying a new quadlock for the Vivente as I put the one from the Vivente onto the Trek MTB so I can use the Map My Ride app. I find that app pretty useful rather than a few others.

Going to be a bit gusty outside today so I don't know if I'll go out in that or not. Finding it very easy to ride around Albury, never been hassled by motorists as the roads are wide enough for everyone and everyone tends to give me the space i need, mostly flat township except on the Westside

My wife found a fluro bicycle jacket I forgot I bought some years ago that actually fits me lol so that came in very useful yesterday, wish I had found that thing earlier in the Winter but better later than ever, it's more for the wind blocking than rain although it is waterproof or showerproof, i don't know if it's actually been out in the rain yet. I'll see how the morning goes whether i'll go out today or not.

Well it's just after 9am on the border at Albury this Saturday Morning and the temps were said to be 10C outside but it feels like -1 peeing down rain with wind pushing it....seems to be a good day to stay home.

Nothing is worth getting out in that!!

Yesterday morning was 3C but "feels like" 0C at 6.30am - so a chilly commute. Super windy today but that will pass tomorrow and then there's a sunny week ahead with light winds. Very nice.

Warmer than I was expecting so the long sleeved shirt was heavier than it needed to be.

The wind was a bit fierce in spots. Being bent I didn't notice the headwind too much but did notice how much easier it was when sheltered from that.

It's pretty miserable outside now, the wind is really gale force. I had to go into the Sydney CBD and the wind is roaring in there.

Currently at 5.40pm it is 12C with a "feels like" of 5.1C - that wind is cutting through

There is a fallen tree on the cycleway between Denistone and Eastwood stations. About halfway along. I was stubborn and managed to step-hurdle-step over the trunks, but it is basically blocked off this morning.
