That includes a vision metron 5d handlebar, ultegra 12spd di2, all for $6500. I'm almost tempted to get it and sell my current bike. Am I missing something here? Yes it has its own brand components for wheelset (although still carbon) and saddle, but still...

yes! they finally brought it in.cyclingnolycra wrote: ↑Thu Dec 15, 2022 11:23 amNot really a special, but I noticed bikesonline release their new bike for sale. The components you get for the cash seem pretty unbeatable in this market? E.g. https://www.bikesonline.com.au/2023-polygon-helios-a8x

Great, thank you! Had been “eyeing” these off for a little while. Wasn’t too fond of the white ones, so grabbed a pair in the colour I preferred as well. They are Sutro S so will be a bit smaller. I’ll keep which ever pair I like more, and sell the other on FB Market Place, they seem to go for around $120-150 which is close enough to what I paid for both pairs!Duck18 wrote: ↑Thu Dec 29, 2022 1:40 pmJust ordered some Oakley Sutro's from https://www.sunglasshut.com/au/oakley/o ... 8392404800. On sale at 1/2 price plus used the code HB20122022 and got another $22.50 off.

A few small front lights, a rear light and the headlights (which are for trails.. but also good for the workshop when it is hard to see).

My preferred chain brand is KMC, as they are usually well priced OS, but found these on a super special at MTB Direct - KMC X11e for $40 ea instead of $100 - $120 anywhere else locally !
The bonus is that whilst stronger to be specific for the extra torque from eBikes, they are also 120 links instead of the typical roadie 114/116
https://www.mtbdirect.com.au/products/k ... 8071089197
Not sure how many are left as I grabbed 6 ..
Bold & colour is my edit - :snap:To this already great reputation, the E-Bike X11e chains add even more torsion-resistance yielding an increase in durability of 20% over the original. Perfect for E-Bikes and heavy-duty applications alike.
This chain has the highest pin power, highest torsion resistance, and highest tensile strength and it features upgraded outer plate chamfering, KMC's famous double X-Bridge shape and triple X durability and is a non-directional chain so there's no getting it wrong when you install it.
Who's this item for: Any rider with an 11-speed drivetrain and a heavy-duty application such as an E-Bike, cargo bike or the thighs of a horse.

Gravel is harder on chains than road.
More abrasive stuff gets on there.

Was $779 but grabbed a $60 voucher, so $719.
That’s $100 cheaper than Pushys, and about $150+ cheaper than anywhere else
Now just gotta buy the pedal bodies to put on there
