Also, Cashrewards has 12% cashback on purchases from catch.com.au. It's 15% if you use an ANZ card, capped at $40 cashback each. Catch is a portal to many bike parts shops like Bikebug so you can get a decent discount on bits and pieces and accessories...

As unlike past "sales" there was actually quite a bit of stock, so snaffled a Ventral Air Spin in the Red

The Active card includes Giant, so potentially this would provide a 15% discount on any Giant bike or gear, which doesn't seem too bad. I would think that this might stack with any other offers, so, for example, in Brisbane you can get 10% off Giant bikes or accessories (at some stores at least) using a discount code from Cycling Brisbane, and then if you paid with gift vouchers (or at least some vouchers) it might result in close to 25% off.

The LE COL points earned system confuses me no end, over my head to get a better price
using it.

Yes, they are excellent. The only type I will buy now. I have enough of them so don't need to buy more.

I sent LE COL a review, told them their B.S. site wasn't much good re points system for discount, they edited it out of the
review system, maybe the BS in full spelling was a little forthright

Keen to hear how you went with Neopro. I found their bib shorts rather average and there was no discernible difference from the $45 Decathlon ones. If not for the fact that I’d be paying postage both ways, I’d return them but not sure if that’s just me as they have a cult following on Facebook.march83 wrote: ↑Mon Sep 20, 2021 9:22 amI was sizing up 2 kits for $600 at Rapha and was having trouble coming to terms with it, so I have ordered a kit from Neopro to give them a try. The review is as follows -
"Pro Eco Jacket advertised at the bottom of another (Australian) Forum at "$75", when you click on this attractive offer it goes to LE COL website and shows $75, then price cycles to show $125 (with a line thru it) and then cycles to $150. Now. which price is the real one, this is misleading and false advertising and basically dishonest. Having second thoughts about dealing with them !"

Nah their bibs are worse than average IMO, I'd stay away from the bibs. Possibly the most uncomfortable bib I've worn. I'd take the entry level DHB bib over their bibs.Fishybone wrote: ↑Fri Dec 03, 2021 11:57 amKeen to hear how you went with Neopro. The jerseys seem fine to me though, I'm happy with the 3 I have. Unbeatable for the price.

This appears to be exactly the same as the bike stand I bought from Bunnings last year, but only $55 delivered. Obviously not bike shop quality but mine is perfectly OK for home use;

Venzo torque wrench set for $66

Bikehand tool set (I think the same as the Aldi one ?) for $61;

Venzo digital shock pump (I have one and it works well enough) for $45;

Lol. When I created this account I was adamant I was going to be riding around on bikes but never getting into the whole lycra thing.P!N20 wrote: ↑Mon Dec 06, 2021 9:20 pmcyclingnolycra wrote: ↑Mon Dec 06, 2021 9:17 pmNah their bibs are worse than average IMO, I'd stay away from the bibs. But once I discovered how comfortable it is and the performance benefits, I was converted thoroughly
