If memory serves, RonK trialed a Bryton unit (earlier model) but ownership left him unimpressed.
Flick him a PM for details.

Been waiting for the Rapha sale but hasn’t emerged yet this winter.

Good old Sportspursuit have just dropped a bunch of new Rapha archive stock though. Some decent items in there. https://www.sportpursuit.com/join/raphaarchive

Ritchey Road Logic 2 #steelisreal
Just saw your signature there sir camel. I built myself up a Road Logic frame, and it is the best bike I have ever owned. Love the ride and handling.

I should update this. I've recently sold mine. Miss is greatly but replaced it with a Stoemper Taylor Disc so still on steel. Have a MASSIVE soft spot for Ritchey's.

Cheap powermeter anyone?
https://www.this link is broken.au/4iiii-precisi ... powermeter
that's great the 175mm is available now but my frame won't clear it as it doesn't my stages (that is still working!). but it is really tempting to just buy a 'spare'. but i'm dedicating myself to just one bike that i can easily change around between gravel/touring and road configuration (di2 change derailleurs and have two chains with a safely reusable quick link).

but the stages (and this would too) easily cleared when i had MTB cranks and bb93 bottom bracket for some reason (different chainline i think). so for road riding it seems i need to get a pedal based power meter (or right crank only). i really don't want a hub based one because they seem more trouble than i need for my passing fancy at looking at weak numbers.

Yeah I got one in 175.
Happy with the price.
Replacing a 5800 crank arm.
I care not that it won't match profile wise.

What frame have you got that won't clear it? :(

Open road have updated their winter clearance with a bit more stock, mostly size S though.

On their summer side, Castelli Mondiale shorts are down from $169 to $99 (small only)

Not on Special .. but I was browsing the Bike Bug website and saw that the Shimano RT54 and RT56 disc rotors were listed for $18 only. I'm pretty sure I paid more than $30 for the 6-bolt RT56 from another online site a few months back.

I also picked one up from the LBS for $50 when I desperately needed a rotor before the weekend. Yah, poor planning on my part

Meanwhile, BikeBug has hiked the price of the Shimano RT800 rotor that I bought just over 18-months ago by almost one-third (the AUD fall justifies around a 10% rise in price).

Pushys going nuts with various discounts including 10% off Schwalbe tyres (Code = TYRE10) and a heap of stuff heavily discounted in their Bargain Basement although I don't know if there's an actual basement (Code = BASE12).

I saw a bunch of Zipp and Mavic wheelsets which were heavily discounted and a lot of Garmin-related hardware.

I may have ordered a new kickr today. I'm told there is now 2000 in the kickr back order book. Mind boggling.

Chainreaction have bikes on special
https://www.this link is broken/au/ ... road-bikes
They have a nerve though... a couple of bikes they advertise as "Ultegra mix",
but they are basically 105 bikes with an Ultegra rear mech.

Track gear below. Use a UK re-shipper (eg BuyNship) very cheap to re-ship.

2. prices .. too good to be true!
3. email contact - helpdesk@customerservicebest.com

please take note. caveat emptor.

Given that Shimano have released the new S-Phyre RC-902 at an eye watering A$548  (and I love my RC-901's that I got for a bargain), been on the lookout for some of the superseded ones to have as spares, but even locally, the prices are hovering around the $350 mark.

Dunno if that's because of low stock so prices can be high or what.

Then found some RP-9 versions in my size at Merlin for $219 (size 45 & 46 only).

These are the 1st versions with a single Boa and velcro. Fine by me :D

I'm the opposite.

Not all ratchets are good
