My fastest was in the sydney champs a few months back. 59km/h, no wind, no lead out.

Bo no means am i sure that these numbers are as accurate as given from a power tap, but whilst doing a "hour of power" session on the KK trainer tonight, i managed a maximum power output of 980W. Apparantly these are accurate to 2 - 3%, but who knows. I am fairly happy with that rough number as i only weigh 70kg. Think i could go another 10% if i was specifically working on sprints, not in the middle of a hard interval session. Even if the figure is not 100% accurate, it gives me a good reference for my max power output for training with sprints.toolonglegs wrote:Peak of 1172w,5sec of 1080w,10sec of 1019w.
Hope to improve a wee bit on that cause these numbers aren't amazing for my size.

If that's an estimated max power number from a KK computer for an acceleration, it will bear no resemblance to reality, nor will it be repeatable or consistent or comparable to other such efforts. The KK power numbers relate to steady state effort only - i.e. when the wheel speed is constant. However if it's power data from a power meter such as a PT or SRM while riding on the KK trainer, then (provided PT/SRM calibration is OK) you can rely on the numbers.snedden9485 wrote:Bo no means am i sure that these numbers are as accurate as given from a power tap, but whilst doing a "hour of power" session on the KK trainer tonight, i managed a maximum power output of 980W.
