thanks mate. picked one up too.Top_Bhoy wrote:Castelli Free Aero Race Bib Shorts - Team Version at $99

I own the standard Castelli Free Aero Race Bib Shorts and find them very comfortable. The only difference from what I have to the team version is that the team version appears to have colour and graphics on the grippers. At $99 these are a bargain and I'd probably buy more but 3 pairs is enough for me for the foreseeable future.
for a change, they had all sizes available .
(I often find bib shorts on sale only have limited sizes, for either garden gnomes or man-mountains .. )

Aldi in Leichhardt has about a dozen tool kits left for $35- $5 off. I bought one, but I think you be better off spending around $70 for a Icetoolz one from Merlin Cycles. It is not as comprehensive, but looks far better quality.

I pulled the trigger on this the other day too: http://www.this link is broken.au/lezyne-super-c ... h-mapping/
was $189 last week, now down to $158. Considering this is very similarly spec'd to the edge 520 ($264 (AT) evans) it seems a pretty good deal.
This is the new "year 10" model so it includes mapping and all the phone connected trickery, unlike the less impressive "year 9" model which had no mapping capabilities. funnily enough, the newer model is more expensive than the older model...

I was looking for a comfortable cheap bib shorts for commuting and at $54, this fit the bill.
Just received it today. Quality is top notch. Looks more suited for a short-to-medium group ride than commuting
Time will tell.
I did notice that the material is "lighter" than most of my other bibs. It's probably more suited for summer use whereas my other bibs are worn the whole year round.

So how do think I felt when I found a kit of a Capo Corsa SL jersey (current retail for $200) and a Capo Corsa SL bibs (current retail $275) with a interesting design for $110 posted.
I bought the black kit from http://therollingherd.com/ and the day after the first kit arrived and tested, I bought the white kit.
In real life the design is more subtle, than the photos.
Only downside is payment by bank transfer only. However, I have done it twice.
ps tell em I sent you, the know my username from instagram after the 1st purchase

Been keeping it simple, black socks with black jersey and white socks with white jersey (also white shoes, helmet and gloves)march83 wrote:Now to find some matching socks...

Power2max prolgue offer

If there are any amongst you who would be interested in getting a type s I am after the NG as the type s wont fit 4-bolt shimano cranks....I would be happy to pay $1100 for the NG and you could essentially get the type s for $900 which would be a $700 discount to you off the standard price of $1599ish.
Feel free to PM me or give me a buzz on 0438 149 050 if that interests you.
Cheers,
Matt

Just had another look and forget the extra Jersey, buy yourself a matching Gilet/vest to wear over the Jersey for an extra $17 https://www.catchoftheday.com.au/produc ... sid=373219
quite a bit of 2XU stuff here, they normally make reasonably good quality gear.
Men's vest Gilet, sz Large only $40 https://www.catchoftheday.com.au/produc ... &sid=cycle

The new features for Power2Max NG are:mmel wrote:What's the diff between S & NG? I can't really see much difference except for the bolt patterns.
– Dual ANT+ & Bluetooth Smart broadcasting
– Increased accuracy, claimed at +/- 1%
– Changed to USB battery power vs past coin cell
– You can now update your own firmware
– Slightly lighter in weight than before
– Inclusion of torque efficiency and pedal smoothness metrics
https://www.dcrainmaker.com/2016/09/pow ... eters.html
I personally would prefer the replaceable battery with longer life of the S, but as stated it wont fit my setup
