i'm struggling to find something around $50 or more to order from pushy's with another $100 item for the 20off. anything that's really good on clearance i've missed? the winter gloves are tempting but i've already got some. i also need to be able to take it overseas in a carry on (so preferably no tools etc.) anything big etc.

maybe sunnies, but i don't know whats good. polarized would be good for upcoming touring.
can't take winter gloves (pointless in summer climate).

the last 20 voucher was 120 spend, but i imagine there will be another within the next month.

Yeah I was the same with the pushys code. I ordered some more sidi wires and was short $40 for the $40 code so I added some short finger gloves and pretty much got them for free...

I just hope the LGs are good otherwise its an extra $20 I lose.

Had a look, however looks like they've cheapened the spec level a bit. Shame

What was different on the older versions, full 105 groupset? I thought they were a lot lighter than the 9.9kg of this model

The Falco Elite was full 105 and ran about $950. Might just be the lower Aussie increasing prices of imported items.

This is the Falco Advanced, not the Elite. The elite is still available, and just more expensive due to the falling AUD.

The only thing that's changed in spec from the old Falco Advanced to the new one is the frame (oh, and the saddle and tyres, but not dramatically). The groupset and wheels are the same.

Surely if they change the frame of a given setup they are then selling a different model. That is if it is just a special, and will revert back to its specs it would be a different model. I can understand peripherals changing or equipment downgrading, but to change the frame, I would think constitutes a different model. Just a thought anyway.

By the time you add GST and Duty it's cheaper to buy from Bike Bug. Ribble are cheaper than Merlin but don't have the brake cables in stock.

ross - as long as you are happy with a 12-25 cassette as that's the only option bikebug have.
