I had 2x AZ, then a Pfizer booster on 21 Dec - was a bit 'off' after first AZ, no effects after the second, then had the booster and rode 35 Km easy the next day then up the Dandenongs 3 days later with no perceivable side effects.trailgumby wrote: ↑Mon Jan 03, 2022 1:45 pmI wasn't great between hours 24 and 48 for second Pfizer jab, but picked up again after that. Booster will be Moderna. One FB friend has just gone the same route, and reports he and partner have been knocked flat for a couple of days, but are coming good.g-boaf wrote: ↑Mon Jan 03, 2022 1:16 pmI know some other very strong riders who got the booster shot with Pfizer IIRC (overseas, not here) and they were out of action for a couple of days and then another 3 or 5 days to get back to normal speed/power. They had pretty much the same symptoms I had after my second Pfizer jab.foo on patrol wrote: ↑Fri Dec 31, 2021 10:25 pmInteresting, my Dr is a cyclist and was back on the bike the next day hooking in after his 2nd shot. Maybe the booster shots are different?

PFizer #1 was just a sore arm for me, like the other kids at school had given me a "birthday punch". Will be interesting to see what happens for #4.cyclotaur wrote: ↑Mon Jan 03, 2022 1:55 pmI had 2x AZ, then a Pfizer booster on 21 Dec - was a bit 'off' after first AZ, no effects after the second, then had the booster and rode 35 Km easy the next day then up the Dandenongs 3 days later with no perceivable side effects.trailgumby wrote: ↑Mon Jan 03, 2022 1:45 pmI wasn't great between hours 24 and 48 for second Pfizer jab, but picked up again after that.
