Unless you use a forum "Smilie" it comes out huge. Any from your phone or tablet keyboard come out very big, like yours did.

He finished off 2024 with a Top 100 in a Stage Race  with 98th on GC and 64th pace on the final stage !!!

And in 2025, he's actually going to race !!

Pencilled in (atm) for the UAE Tour.

Also listed as "Retiring 2025/12/31" on PCS ...

Can he roll back time and go for broke and maybe make the Top 50 in something ?

Ouch ..... 8)
Few transfers in recent years have gone as badly as Chris Froome’s move from Team Sky (later INEOS Grenadiers) to Israel-Premier Tech in 2021, in fact this is one of the worst transfers of all time.
Froome has been unable to return to top form. Since joining, he has managed just one top-10 finish in a WorldTour race and has struggled to keep pace in Grand Tours. The move has been widely regarded as one of the worst transfers in cycling history, and it feels like an eternity since we’ve seen Froome remotely close to his best. In fact, come to think of it, the last time we saw a spark of the real Froome was when he was defeated by Pidcock on Alpe d’Huez back in 2022,

Nairo also gets a mention for his transfer disaster from Movistar to Arkea Samsic, who also look likely to fold.

And to top it off .....
“I haven’t 100% decided that I’ll be retiring at the end of this year,” Froome admits on ITV Sport commentator Ned Boulting's Never Strays Far podcast at an early season Israel - Premier Tech training camp. “Chances are, yes, I’ll be calling it a day, but I’m just keeping the door open. [I’ll] see how this year goes, see how I’m feeling towards the end of it.”

Strong desire is, but face up to reality he must (read it in a Yoda voice)

I'd say he has a strong understanding of reality ;)

It has been reported that Froome is on a multi-million euro annual wage, perhaps stretching to as much as €5m

That ends on the 31st Dec though !!

He can probably still get the minimum wage on a Div 2 team maybe ......

Yep, if I was paid that much to ride that badly, no way I'd be quitting. The only bit of fantasy is that the gravy train will keep running
