The considered ideal for a young, fit, male is about a WHtR of 0.43. Ideal BMI is about 21.75 kg/m^2 for longevity for a man.
Not much of a story in my situation. I've been bouncing around the bottom of the weight scale for my height for some years. Probably about 8 years at least. You know when you look in the mirror whether you still have weight to lose. When you start looking like a praying mantis, then you know you've lost enough or even too much. Only you can decide what you're happy with. Many in AU would say I'm too skinny by looking at me. My sister says I'm boney. But they are used to looking at overweight people all day as the norm.
I post here sometimes to encourage others, no matter how they eat. But I often find many don't like to hear the truth, so they stop posting. These kind of threads often thrive on the delusion that people can just exercise their way to whatever weight they want and keep it there. I suppose it can be done, but it's a big committment in hours per week - usually like 15 hours - to maintain well. Much easier to get the diet sorted properly, which should also improve one's health. But people generally don't want to do that.
