Gumtree, eBay and FB marketplace seem to be really good at offering 'further suggestions' as I search with a Sydney location. Inevitably, however, they are in Brisbane, Melbourne, or Adelaide. And they say the algorithms are smart?

Decent looking Clamont: https://www.gumtree.com.au/s-ad/sydney- ... 1326391704
Is it a gefsco? The pictures are terrible quality looking on my phone.
Chainstays shape and tange would indicate it was a shop bike rather than custom made?

Don’t think so, but looks better than average. Would like to know which Tange tubing it is.

Pennine TT bike: https://www.gumtree.com.au/s-ad/south-b ... 1326464011

Pennine are from Bradford, UK who I believe are still in business and still making frames. Interesting to see one for sale in 'Straya.

Didn't you read the advert, it's Italian because it has a Campagnolo sticker and the seller says so! Sheeeesh.

I'll close the door behind me on the way out!

Don't think this is over P!N20, I'm keen to have the last say, on my way out but need to think up something nasty.

And in all seriousness while many of the links here aren't of interest to me a few years ago P!N20 put up a link to a Cecil Walker. It was regional Victoria (but near where my sister lives) and long story short I have a cracking early Cecil Walker Track bike, dripping with "No Record" including Pista cranks Cinelli stem etc all for a very low price. I offered more than advertised (not much) because of average listing and photos but when I finally got it from my sisters house I could have offered twice what I paid and still been well ahead.

And, no, you cant have it P!N20

This one is good looking - 1993 Specialized Epic. Another one that's too big for me though. I need 56cm.... and more shed space.

Definitely worth checking with Darryl, that's a fine looking frame that deserves a proper paintjob
