That one swooped me during the week too, but as it's part of my commute it's going to be hard to avoid.DarrylH wrote:Duntroon side of Dairy Flat Bridge - I won't be doing the Lake circuit for a while.

It had a crack at me as I was coming off the old federal hwy back onto the federal hwy.

Lucky I go an alternate route now. There's one on the entry into the Canberra Hospital from Yamba Drive at the pedestrian crossings. Had a couple of goes only. I'll rate him a 2/4 for aggression.

Coordinates easier: -35.347519, 149.100204

I saw someone getting swooped on Ipswich St the other day, she seemed oblivious though so I don't think there was any contact
I got swooped for the first time this year on the weekend, and it wasn't even a magpie, I think it was a plover

Sounds like the same place as last year. Some only last a fortnight or so, others will keep bombing for a good 6weeks +. Then of course when you think its all over there will be a few late bloomers to keep you on your toespablo064 wrote:Hopetoun circuit in Yarralumla - just before the roundabout with Schlich street on the way to the lake. Had a couple of hits at me - thankfully I was able to get out of there quickly. This is my first magpie season - do you guys now how long these guys are aggro like this?
