Interesting. Vern Smith was Footscray, Paul Hillbrick NSW I believe...might it be a Hillman?

Thought the same. Could be confirmed if it has the Hillman four digit serial number on the BB shell.

Very nice and also a bit unusual. A little on the pricey side but still very nice....
If I hadn't recently acquired a 'real' Kuwahara I would be very tempted.

Nice looking 'Peninsula Star': https://www.gumtree.com.au/web/listing/ ... 1330871107

Most of the components look original.

^ Yes, I liked the look of that Teruzzi - but I suspect the forks will need re-chroming and with the rust on the frame (plus looks like it's coming out around the lug brazing) the inside of the tubes might also be suspect. Pity, as it's a rare beasty in Australia.

That Teruzzi looks nice, even with the rust etc, just call it 'patina'. I'd happily buy it at that price if it was local to me.

Didn't notice on first look the seat tube is indented for the rear wheel. I like it even more now!

I quite like the idea of an incognito Colnago. Turn up the bars, tie a milk crate on it..

There you go - a brand that I have never heard of !
Interesting in so many ways.

Equipment looks classic early ‘80’s Campagnolo or Zeus. Frame has internal rear brake cabling- which I think only became the go on top shelf racing bikes at the end of the’80’s.
Cheers

Giessauf in SA, looks a good project. The position of the seatpost in the last photo made me laugh
