Road Wheelsets - What are my Options?

I forgot about that bit too! Yes, adding a power meter is definitely a gamechanger.

I think I might just get a left crank based one for the gravel bike, that way I won't smash it on rocks too much and can swap it over later.

Plus the new 4iii ones have bike tracking, so a good security feature.

you'll have to be careful - the checkpoint says it's not compatible with non drive side crank power meters. there's not much clearance. YMMV

The middle two come and go depending on how much money is left over, but the 1st and last are game changers. Don't think it makes sense yet to swap the iCAN over to Di2, but essentially all I need is a Di2 FD, brifters and a battery. Have everything else .....

Internal Battery : $180 (lotsa places)
GRX Brifters : Silly money
Ultegra 8020 Brifters : $524 from Merlin (with calipers)

Well, that stuffed that idea up ..... maybe 2nd hand would be an option ...

The Assioma SPD power metre pedals are supposed to be the ducks nuts for off-road now.

My vector3s with rally pedal bodies are doing the job, but the el cheapo vectors are no longer available afaik

Tubeless is definitely a must have for gravel.
Great for road too imo, but they sting you for the tyres

do what i did - buy a second hand R8070 groupset.

R8020 is mechanical shifting with hydraulic brakes, and not what you want
front derailleur (on special, be quick)

Noted the Merlin FD price prior, but with postage ends up the same as Bicycles online. Already have an RD, but the Brifters are exxy and scarce.

Not a lot of 2nd hand groupsets either atm.

Reality is that maybe best option is want what I have and when I break this bike, get a new one with Di2

Di2 can't really be faked - it's just a matter of whether the seller is reputable. I'd recommend 'anrancee' and 'Yiwu Donglue' - both of these definitely sell legitimate Shimano parts.
