Heavy and constant rain all day. Not sure about tomorrow now.

Can't believe it, i've been up in Sydney since Sunday for a series of medical appts and the last few days ranged around 25 to 28c, today it got no warmer than 12c in Kingsgrove.
I didn't bring any jackets either, just a couple of flannies.....hope its warmer tomorrow.

Overcast but dry and temperature was ideal. Went earlier today at 6:30am instead of the usual 9am. Traffic slightly heavier but much more aggressive with close passes and cutting in front.

I got nearly 80km done today with a fair bit of elevation and reasonable average speed so I was quite happy with that, especially seeing it rained later in the day.

It was a bit chilly however.

The joys of the Rotovelo in spring. Warming up and becoming a wee bit sweaty...a nice soupy mix.

BTW, did I say I LOVE headwinds! they never slow me down and they keep me nice and cool.

I went to leave for work, as it was already 28 I decided to work from home today. Might go for a ride tonight when its cooled off

It has made the news here. Petty hot and humid coming up apparently.
Been wet here. Hopefully gone now. Itching to get on the bike but not itchy enough to do so if it is raining

Went out at about 8:30am on an errand. Not too bad for the 40 mins or so going, got worse and worse coming back. Get home and once I am out of the riding breeze I broke into a massive flop sweat and had to shower!

Ended up heading out at 1:30pm and did a century!

Actually wasn't too bad near the coast, but once I headed inland a bit, it felt a good 5-10°C warmer. Normally I never stop, but I had to duck into a servo around the 80km mark and pay an exorbitant amount for a bottle of Powerade.

The dew point during the middle of the day was reasonably low so as long as you could stay hydrated it was OK. But got worse when the temperature dropped in evening.

Not so ideal conditions for velomobiles.

Went out this morning on another errand and while warm and humid it was OK, Glad I did it in the morning as the heavens just opened and the heavy rain was sideways! Bet the velomobile would have been sideways too given our 4 storey high gumtree was seriously considering non-vertical directions.

summer riding... heat, humidity, and buckets of seat! you don't know what you're missing out on. Especially when climbing
