October 2024 Forum Winner - foo on patrol

Postby AUbicycles » Mon Nov 04, 2024 8:21 am

Each month, a forum member is selected as a winner and will receive an Orange Wipes Bike Cleaner Set from our forum sponsor Unpass.

Congratulations foo on patrol - forum winner for October 2024.

foo on patrol takes the win in October. In 2020 he started the RUOK thread in the Cycling Health sub-forum and through life's turns and twists he continues to look after it. Most people are directly or indirectly impacted by mental health and for me, this thread serves as a friendly reminders and access points. It is a reminder for me to check-in with family and friends and a reminder that there are host of support options when the going gets tough.

For people into bikes, the RUOK thread connects people who have probably never met in person but are ok to share and support. I want to mention Lifeline as another important contact (phone 13 11 14) and many institutions and charities provide support and research for people who are suffering and for their families and friends.

foo on patrol one of the many Australian Cycling Forum members who are generous supporting others in this way and 'takes the prize' on behalf of many here. Congratulations and thank you!

Australian Cycling Forums Monthly Winner
The monthly winner will be selected from the forum members and for practicality should reside in Australia. This is not a competition, there is no entry, rather I will select winner each month who catches my attention. Perhaps they have posted something insightful, they have assisted others with a great answer or does something positive. Feel free to send me a private message to suggest a worthy member and let me know why.

Bonus points to winners who then post a picture of their bike after being cleaned!
