Purpose?

Recreational, racing, TT, triathlon...?

Not really an A-vs-B decision. Size, speed, width, weight, wet and dry grip, puncture-resistance, etc. There are many factors to consider, but first thing to establish is the prevalent purpose, then work along from there.

Of the two tyres you listed (one obscure?), I am familiar with the later Contis, not this ore, nor the Michelin. But neither in my case, purpose and other factors considered.

I have Goodyear Eagle SuperSport F1 R (long distance [>100km] riding at speed, non gravel).

Are either of them still made? Gp4000 tyres have been out of production for about 5 years, not sure on the Michelin's.

Gp5000 is the replacement and it's a great all round road race, quick, reasonable puncture protection and fair long life.

The Michelins have been out of production for at least 6 or 7 years. Perhaps OP has just come out of a long sleep?

That's what I thought. Perhaps he can time travel and wants to pay less for tyres?
