Got one, fits well with the Garmin mount in different ways. Can also use it with the Garmin light connected like a stack. About time someone created a neater option light like this

Its a daytime light. For cycling in the dark, you need a proper light.

As Andrew said, it's very much a 'be seen' light, rather than a 'to see' light.

If I needed the road/path in front of me lit up, I'd supplement it with a bigger, stronger light.

Maybe I am missing something, but the only stand-out feature of this light seems to be it's mount. Otherwise it looks a bit pathetic (on paper).

I had a Moon Mizar 100 lumen light and in bright daylight it was almost invisible, so after I got cleaned up by a SUV, I bought a Cateye AMPP 400 (400 lumen), which was MUCH brighter, but still not great on a bright sunny Brisbane day.

I generally use the AMPP 400 on the Flashing mode which is 200 lumens and it last 60 hours. The Daytime Hyperconstant mode is 400/200 lumen and lasts 6 hours. I found that while the Daytime Hyperconstant was technically brighter, it seemed to lose some of the effect because it stayed on at 200 lumens & flashed up to 400 lumens, whereas the flashing mode from 0-200 lumens seemed to catch my eye more (I got my wife to ride up & down the road using the different modes while I looked and videoed on my phone ).

This Ravemen FR160 on it's brightest 160 lumen flashing only lasts 5.3 hours, and the next flashing setting down is 50 lumens for 8 hours, and 50 lumens is not going to be seen easily on a bright day.

The Moon Mizar, as tiny as it is, is supposedly rated for a daytime flashing mode of 100 lumens for 30 hours - and it was not bright enough in my opinion.

Having said that, I have nearly been flattened twice in the last fortnight by cars who clearly didn't see me (in spite of the 200 lumens flashing front & rear lights & a sea-rescue orange shirt & helmet), and probably wouldn't have seen unless I had a set of ambulance lights & sirens strapped to my back, so I am not convinced that ANY light really makes us visible to cars.

The mount is definitely the best feature if like me your objective is to reduce clutter on the handlebars - that was my main reason for buying. Because my Wahoo Bolt lives permanently attached to the Ravemen I charge them at the same time, and can quickly move them from one bike to another. The other feature that is good is the fact that the light has side visibility in addition to out front, which helps a little as a daytime running light.

But no, it is not a powerful enough light to light up the road or path.

Thread dig, I bought the Ravemen 1000w light and it comes with a button that controls the beams = intensity and hi low function. $99 from 99bikes on sale. I have to say, it's a damn good light for the price.
