Dempster Brothers 1861 Expedition Revisited in 2024

Postby Aushiker » Sun Jun 23, 2024 5:16 pm

Proof of Concept. With my forthcoming e-bike bikepacking trip following 'in the foot steps' of the Dempster Brothers, the first Europeans to venture east of Northam in WA, I must go wild camping one night. That means taking camping gear, a tent and six litres of water. So, I worked out the best load option for that overnight. For the rest of the trip, the water bladder is wrapped around the tent, and the tent is secured to the top of the rack.

All is good so far :)

That looks like quite an elaborate setup Andrew. Quite a bit of research and planning involved. Hope it goes well. :)
