Renshaw would know a bit about Cav. Certainly had more to do with him than anyone on here.

On a related topic….His old mate Wiggins. Saw an article about him via CN and his financial woes.

Granted, it’s a Daily Mail hack piece, but the comments
I had no idea that the Poms hated him so much. What he ever do wrong?

Yep, he is someone that I could not take a liking too. He never seemed happy or willing mingle but expected people to revere him. There were warnings out years ago that he needed to get his act together but he seemed more interested in partying and generally being a dick than securing his future.

Yeah right, he couldn't ride a straight line if his life depended on it and he was the same on the Track.
At his best and with Mark Renshaw as his lead out man, he couldn't complain about being out of position or having a good lead into a sprint.

Don't need to hold your line that well when nobody can hold your wheel
![Idea ](./images/smilies/icon_idea.gif)
![Razz :P](./images/smilies/icon_razz.gif)
Could when he needed to though during the record number of stage victories.
Going to struggle to get another I reckon at near 40 years old but will be good if he does
