SBS and Cycling 2024

So, the International Cycling 2024 season has kicked off, and whilst the TdU got some coverage, it wasn't great.

Anyway, the next things on SBS are as follows ;

Tour de la Provence
Thu 8th Feb to ??
Typically midnight for 2 hrs via On Demand

BMX Championships
Sun Feb 11, 12 - 5pm via On Demand
Thu Feb 22, 12 - 5pm via On Demand
Fri Feb 23 , 10am - 1pm via On Demand

Thanks for those links, will check them out.

I used to watch a lot of the classic events on SBS, but they have lost some of their lustre in recent years.
Actually it was a pleasure to watch the recent TDU stages and the Cadel Road Races that were shown on one of the Channel 7 free-to-air stations.

Particularly great to see such a strong commentary team, which at various times included Anna Meares, Phil Ligget, Robbie McEwan, Matthew Keenan, and others.

Australian Elite Track Titles start today at 11am Brisbane time and night sessions on SBS. Day sessions will be streamed on Bin Chicken Youtube.

Woot. Plapp in Yellow at Paris-Nice and 2nd on Stage 4 with finish on Mont Brouilly (3.3km (AT) 7.7%)

It was quite a treat watching some of the MSR on SBS last night.
The coastal scenery was amazing.

Then I woke up about 2 hours later with 15 km to go.
Pog looked unbeatable at first then Pidcock descended like a bat out of hell but MVDP was rock solid and stayed up with the action as the others burnt their matches.
And JP got the win but MM came out of nowhere and deserves the biggest kudos for nearly nailing it on the line.

Great win in Catalunya Stage 1 by Nick Schultz for IPT.

His 1st WT win too I believe !!
