It's so heavy that I really don't know how you'd fix a flat on the road. So I converted it to tubeless today. It all worked perfectly. Max tyre pressure is 40 and I think the actually working pressure will be 25-30 so ideal for tubeless.

25? kg? Stone? Cwt? Why not borrow a set of bathroom scales, pick up the bike, weigh yourself and it, then subtract your own weight? My scales go up to 150 kg

I can guarantee that my Cube is heavier... It weighs 50kg. I really hope I never need to change a flat. The Schwalbe tyres are pretty hardy so I think I can avoid it. I carry a can of fix-a-flat, which could hopefully get home. Otherwise, you can lay it on the side of the box to get the rear tyre out.Comedian wrote: ↑Sun Nov 26, 2023 7:49 pmIt's by far and away the heaviest bike I've ever come across. I can't weigh it as my scales only go up to 25. Maybe one day I'll remove the battery and weigh it and the bike separately.

Love the idea of the rail at the rear which can take an extra seat/ handlebars/ basket.

How old is the young one? Our six-month-old black pug tries to do the ear-licking thingo with our grumpy old lady greyhound. She is not impressed

Good to see the new bike is working out. Did you change the gearing in the end?Comedian wrote: ↑Wed Jan 03, 2024 2:59 pmUpdate - bike was easily able to pull the full load up the hill to home.

Nope seems fine and is low enough to get up our 14% pinch with ease while pulling the trailer and doggos.blizzard wrote: ↑Thu Jan 04, 2024 12:52 pmGood to see the new bike is working out. ''The top assisted speed in either case is 20 mph. The Ultra is pedal-assist only, while the Pro gains a throttle, and both variants include a torque sensor for a more natural assisted ride. For more flexible choices while on the move, the ebike also comes packing a 9-speed Shimano gearset.
No thank you.
In the downtube of this model's alloy frame is a 692-Wh removable battery for up to 110 miles (180 km) between charges, with the addition of an optional range extender
Talk about spin ... 4" tyres and 180 km range from 692 wh. Yeah right.
