This is the LAST week you can provide a submission To the Warburton MTB destination EES. The deadline is the 25th of January - that’s next Tuesday. The link is in our Bio (will put in the comments for Facebook). If you’ve already done it, please hound your friends and family to do it. We’ve had some fantastic support from the MTB community this last week, but now is not the time to ease up - we need to push this right to the line. This will be the biggest moment to date in Australian MTB. No other project has been funded or backed to this extent. Beyond that, the studies and data done by the @yrcouncil will serve as a precedent and reference for trail infrastructure right around the world. The success of this project will pave the way for MTB here in Australia, so please, stand with us this one last time, and let’s create the future for MTB we all want to see.
I've been following the project to develop Warburton into a MTB destination for a number of years.
Many hoops have been jumped through including an Environment Effects Statement, but they still needs public submissions showing support from the community. It will be great for MTBers, inject cash into the region and create jobs for Warburton residents.
