Cycling Shoes (Road) - Melbourne Shops/Stockists

Hello all,

Seeking store recommendations focused on cycling footwear in Melbourne (I'm Ringwood based however have no issues travelling).

I'm a couple of years into road cycling and love it. My el' cheapo Bontrager entry shoes are in dire need of an upgrade and I'd like to avoid buying online and be measured up and try a few options at a physical store. I'm prepared to cough up $$ for comfort and stiffness (ie. carbon sole). Lake and Shimano shoes have atracted my interest to date and I'd like a decent comfortable pair before an upcoming bike fit next month.

My local Bikebug has a few Lake models in the shop. Melbourne may be similar.

I understand not wanting to buy online. I've been the victim of a few pairs recently not being right and going back for return. My next pair will probably be Velokicks road shoes. Aussie brand, podiatrist/accomplished cyclist who runs the company. They're very helpful with sizing questions which I've asked a few. Good prices for what you get too.
