My Merida Scultura Endurance has an Ultegra groupset except for the cassette, its 105.
Is there any benefit to replacing it with an Ultegra cassette?

In terms of riding it, nothing noticeable, unless it has different sized gears.

Ultegra is 30gm lighter but otherwise the 105 is just as good

The Ultegra has better surface hardening for better durability. But I'd wait until you wear out the current one before replacing it, unless you want a different size.
I had a thought, but it got run over as it crossed my mind.

Ok, thanks fellas. I won't bother replacing it until it's needed. The shifting was pretty awesome today on my first ride.

Less freehub bite, as gears 4-5-6 are also on a spider as well as 1-2-3. If you have a steel freehub rather than the aluminium more common on premium wheelsets, this won't be as much of an issue.

It appears to be only 4 and 5 in 11s.
A marginal improvement in cassette bite at best.
Ime, torque the cassette up correctly and notching of the freehub is not much of an issue.
I am not putting out Andre Griepel type power however.
