Paragon Carbon wheels

Postby amelket1805 » Sat Jan 15, 2022 4:10 pm

Gday all, new here and have been exploring the forum. Lots of great information. Looking forward to learning all sorts of tips and tricks and hopefully share my journey as I get deeper into the world of cycling.

SO I start with a question.

Anyone had anything to do with these wheels

They seem like an excellent deal but not a lot of information out there about them.

My plan for them is to replace my Mavic CXR 80's on my Cevelo P3. I do really like the Mavic's, but would like to go to clincher/tubeless wheels. Mainly being that if I get a flat while racing(triathlons) I'm not sure of the success i'll have repairing the tubulars.

I know there are a lot of great wheels out there but am trying to keep it somewhat budget friendly.

Anyway thanks in advance and i look forward to learning and sharing along the way.

No experience with those particular wheels, but for slightly more cash I'd be looking at Farsports or Light Bicycle. I have 2 pairs of Farsports now (disc / rim brake) and they have been spot on! Both instances they noted the invoice value as $150 USD so I didn't have to pay GST.

Farsports are apparently the OEM manufacturers for other brands.
