I own this Mono eBike - https://www.sunmono.com.au/product/e-mo ... ke-70m001/
The display on it is huge and I want to replace it with something a lot smaller and more discrete, something similar to the Bafang 500c display.
How do I know if it will work? If I just buy it and try it, will it potentially fry something?
I cannot see any branding or model number on the rear motor. The web page above also doesn't say which motor/controller is used.
I have tried contacting the Mono company many times via phone, email and facebook, but haven't been able to get a response.
They do have the same green 5 pin connector, but I cannot find the pinout/wiring diagram.

I have basic electronics skills and own a multimeter and soldering iron, if that helps.
I would like to avoid going to a bike mechanic if possible as it seems to be quite a simple fix.
