Hi everyone, new to the forum
Just bought myself a very cool Retro Bottecchia Dolce Vita bike I am looking to restore.
Could anyone point me in the direction of where I could buy parts? I'm in Melbourne.

Cool, what parts do you need?
Is it a vintage bike or a modern bike made to look vintage?
There’s not a whole lot of specialist vintage bike shops in Melbourne, but Mottainai Cycles do a fair trade in getting old bikes back on the road.
eBay is still probably the best if you’re after something specific, but prices can be astronomical. Gumtree is OK, but a lot of the vintage stuff has moved onto Facebook Marketplace.
Post up some photos when you can.

Restore, repair or restomod?
If restoring, correct vintage period parts are hard to come by and will cost a lot more. Repairing you should be able to pick up generic parts that are suitable from most bike shops. The longer the shop has been around the better, or maybe your area has a bike coop for used parts. Unless it is a special model, I’d probably go restomod and get new upgrades parts to suit.
