This might potentially be the last SL6 size 56 frame set in Australia. I certainly haven’t come across another, and I’ve been looking. A lot.

The electric bicycles are priced at $999 each and have both ladies and gents versions.

And yet the cassette I was looking at yesterday (105 11-25 10 Speed) has increased in price from $65 to $91. Not sure if that's site wide but looks mighty suspicious.

You’re right, and yet the 11 speed is $67. 10 speed Ultegra is now $143!10speedsemiracer wrote: ↑Tue Apr 27, 2021 8:42 pmInterestingly, I'm looking at the same cassette right now, and it shows $95.99 and Out of Stock ..Mr Purple wrote: ↑Tue Apr 27, 2021 7:39 pmNot particularly impressed with Pushys today. Are they pricing their parts like the stock market?
10 speed 105 on Bikebug is $70 with free delivery still.

Meh, just bought a pair of Sunrace cassettes (11-32 for the roadie and 11-42 for the GT Lefty) and a couple of Goodyear tyres for the roadie in prep for winter coming (I like fresh rubber when it gets wet ...)10speedsemiracer wrote: ↑Tue Apr 27, 2021 8:42 pmInterestingly, I'm looking at the same cassette right now, and it shows $95.99 and Out of Stock ..Mr Purple wrote: ↑Tue Apr 27, 2021 7:39 pmNot particularly impressed with Pushys today. Saved $38 all up.
Since Shimano have been geoblocking, have used the Sunrace cassettes and have had no issues - they are cheaper, seem to be lighter (yeah, yeah, I know), but have performed perfectly.

They are probably too much of a small fry for the ACCC to bother with, which sucks.

I was told that older 10 speed stuff might have a price rise due to limited stock. Shimano prioritising the 11 speed stuff on the production.

And so I sent an email to Pushys, as a long-time account holder, asking them to explain. Meanwhile I checked the item again, now it's priced at $90.99 but the email response indicated that they show only one (1) price change this year from $94.99 to $99.99 (??), and that it's Out of Stock, and to contact them if I have anything further ..10speedsemiracer wrote: ↑Tue Apr 27, 2021 8:42 pmInterestingly, I'm looking at the same cassette right now, and it shows $95.99 and Out of Stock ..Mr Purple wrote: ↑Tue Apr 27, 2021 7:39 pmNot particularly impressed with Pushys today. But ... it's not listed at $99.99, it's $90.99 ... and the site shows 5+ in stock ..
What ?

Weird. I wonder if it's an IT issue rather than something deliberate?10speedsemiracer wrote: ↑Wed Apr 28, 2021 6:50 pmAnd so I sent an email to Pushys, as a long-time account holder, asking them to explain. It was definitely $64.99 previously. I actually added one to my cart, and decided the $12 postage was excessive when Bikebug has them for $70 with free delivery.

I didn’t know that this is not legal... although it is totally dodgy.
Wiggle and c r c were doing this for a long tine, don’t know if they still do but it could be a loophole.
The they have a ‘permanent discount’ so it always seems cheap and show a RRP which is unreasonably high.
Eg. $74.99 (save 40% rrp $122.88)
Then wiith any sales they revert to the initial RRP which they never ever sold at... and with a 30% discounts, the special sale has higher priced gear.
Yes, it gets people who aren’t tracking the prices but over time they loose credibility from customers. The customers may still purchase if the price is right however the customers are not as trusting and are sceptical of future sales.
This may describe what you already know and the shops are reluctant to talk about it.

From my time in Ozbargain, the item needs to have been at the RRP for a certain amount of time before they can claim discount. No issues with raising the price again though.AUbicycles wrote: ↑Sat May 15, 2021 4:54 pmAny response from Pushys?

I priced an Ultegra cassette last week, and it was $139. Went back when they had the 15% off special this week and it was $109 minus the 15%.
I'm thinking they might have some software issues, because that just doesn't make sense.
Either that or the price varies on whether you search it directly through their website or from an external source.

Are Bike Inn a reputable online retailer?
I’ve only used Wiggle, PBK and Pushys before.
Oh, if anyone sees a pair of Assos T Equipe Evo bibs in a large available, can you let me know please.

I have used BikeInn a few times for routine purchases, they were fine. Hopeless if you have any questions about an advertised item though, so I can't vouch for their communication.briztoon wrote: ↑Fri May 21, 2021 5:52 pmHi guys, I’m looking at some assos bibs, and Bike Inn appears to have a sale on assos at the moment.

Has anyone used Ciclimattio?
They are almost always far cheaper than anyone else, but their delivery times always say 10 to 15 days.

BikeInn are pretty dodgy in my limited experience. I was trying to get some Ergon grips that at the time were not available locally. BikeInn had them a t a reasonable price, so I bought them and a few other smaller things to "make use of" the shipping.briztoon wrote: ↑Fri May 21, 2021 5:52 pmHi guys, I’m looking at some assos bibs, and Bike Inn appears to have a sale on assos at the moment.

Almost 3 weeks later and a few unanswered emails they said that they didn't have stock of the grips ??? I told them that the grips were, in fact, still showing as "in stock" on their website, and had shown as in stock right through. Another week "to check" and confirm that they would refund the grips and post the rest. It took another 2 weeks of arguing to get them to cancel the whole order (because the others were "fillers" and I certainly didn't want to pay the shipping on them). Then when they finally refunded, of course the refund didn't cover the international transaction fees on both original payment & refund.
Very poor service. I would have to get a GREAT deal to even consider them again.
