I'd totally buy that if I didn't already have a full shed and empty pockets. $5.5k for that frameset is not bad for what it is, unfortunately the paint job is extra

The frame manufacturer, Hanglun in China, sells a frame constructed using the same method, for US$1118 (A$1600). Sure it's not exactly the same frame, but that's some mark up by Bossi.Calvin27 wrote: ↑Mon Aug 10, 2020 1:02 pmSaw that new Bossi. Totally take back everything I said about it being 'all th same Ti' This one looks the goods and obviously a lot of though and refinement! I'd take that over a baum.

Agree 100% - as good as the price was, just couldn't get past that.
Saw that and liked it. A bit. Not enough to jump on the bandwagon.
With the printed lugs, it loses some of the appeal of the Ti frames, so wonder "What's the point?"
Meh, I've got tougher decisions ahead

As mentioned before, I'm lookiong at a metallic orange, either like the Bowman Palace 'Orange Sherbet' or Factor 'Burnt Orange'. I'm, also looking at using the Hope RX4 calipers for braking. Now being Hope, they come in a range of colours including Black, Orange, Purple, Blue, Silver and Red (see below for some of the colours).
Do I go matchy-matchy and get the Orange Calipers, or just stick with the Black ?
Finding the Orange ones in stock is a bit problematic
Reverse side (facing outboard)
Inboard side (facing towards wheel)

Those calipers for shimano or sram?
Personally, I'd keep the caliper a neutral colour so the frame pretty much pops out. Everything black bar the frame in sick orange.

The SRAM & Shimano look the same - difference are seals and piston sizes.
Even the Black ones are low in stock !!

Hmmm, thanks, but not really keen on that option, but will think about it ...10speedsemiracer wrote: ↑Fri Aug 14, 2020 7:15 pmI also think the silver, carries on the theme of the disc rotor.

Looks like frame only available in Aus at about $7500 with 4 month wait.
I’ll have to ride my 12-year old Trek for a bit longer while I continue to save the pennies.

Looked today at a new Cannondale SuperSix Evo with SRAM E-Tap AXS (Force). Lovely bike. Apparently $7700 worth, sold for about $6K as it was a demo bike.
Edit: Stuff that Willier, look at this thing in red:

That frame looks awesome in orange Michael. Definitely a keeper.
Not sure about brake caliper colour, but I'm leaning toward black also. Can easily link in with saddle and bar tape in black also.
Anyway can't wait for the build thread
