Seeing a cheaper deal I deleted my original post and left the eBay link.

I think you'll find that you'd be protected by eBay if it was a fake due to the heading saying Petzl Actik.
You have to make up your own mind as you do for all auctions but if you find it ambiguous then that is what the facility to ask the seller questions is for.
Many have been sold and the seller appears to have no red faces in their feedback.
Again, its not my auction and the thread is to alert other forum members to the "special" for everyone to make up their own minds and I'm making no suggestion as to authenticity or warranty status.

Or, this recent release is a pretty good looking weight weenie headlamp from Nitecore (I have one of their mini flashlights and it's excellent) at 1/3 the weight and a nice CRI reading LED, but half the mAH battery and a bit more cash.

On the surface its a very good for price for whats represented, which is what this thread is for.

I haven't recommended the seller, merely pointing out the offer and I've offered an alternate special on offer via ozbargain.
