Heard at the lbs that Cannondale is changing is Slate series in 2018 to two models (down from 4). Higher end 2017 models are the ones going, currently on run out prices and cheaper than the lower end models.

Have no cash (with all money going on my JoneS Plus build) otherwise would consider one...

A face to face chat at the lbs. He had the catalogs out and had just ordered on for someone. The 2017 models are: Force CX1, Ultegra, 105, Apex. The CX1 and Ultegra are the runout models. for 2018, there will be Force 1 and Apex 1.

He said the Ultegra is currently cheaper than the 105. Did not ask about the price of the CX1 as I have no money to spend and did not want to know...

Always dreaming But I may have missed that particular window of opportunity. The 2017 Canyons are largely sold out, and the 2018 range is out of my price range ($5k) at full retail.
They might be affordable around mid-2018 TDF sale time, but discount amount is unknown, and the ULTIMATE CF SLX 8.0 is $5200 incl shipping, for Ultegra and carbon wheels, or I can get a TCR with same spec for $3500. Bit hard to justify the price difference and a ~7 month delay.

Bought a '17 BH Quartz Disc Disc Ultegra Di2, it had already been reduced from 4500 down to 3500, less 10% = 3150. However there's also a special at the moment for a 500 gift voucher with certain BH bikes applied at checkout. I would love to say I was not influenced by the price, but I really was. Fingers crossed.
