Thanks nickdos. I ordered the Vortex, and then reading up on using it read the it fits down to 26in, while the Elite Qubo said down to 20in. So I added the Qubo to a new order for my 20-24in bikes too. It's like hen's teeth finding genuine small wheel adapters or making a good improvised solution.nickdos wrote:Just picked up a Tacx Vortex Smart trainer at ProBikeKit for $378 aud. You have to change the currency to pounds and then use this 30gbp discount code: MVC200PBK (expires 26/6).
The Elite Qubo Digital Smart B+ Turbo Trainer is even cheaper. Both work with Zwift and change resistance like a Kickr.
Sneaky buggers put a huge markup on AUD price (Tacx - $699) presumably because it's our winter and thus trainers are in demand.
Some recumbent riders may be interested in the Elite for that small wheel reason.
