That's one way to look at it. I am sure it's a decent endurance/comfort frame.

no. but you can get definitely get either converting BBs or adapters to run whatever you need to
Also if the specs are correct, it's a 105 crankset so it will already have the adapters for 24mm crankset spindle. BB386 is compatible with almost any crankset except for BB30 (which is too narrow).

Would be looking to run an old Octalink BB for a wired SRM. So 24mm crankset spindle option won't help...

I posted the question in the shed - appears cannot be converted according to Duck!. BB30 can though so will have to look for bikes with this standard...
