This website (which I believe is dalai47's) suggests that Blackburn are no longer running TTs at the Kew Boulevard this year and are moving to the Carribean Gardens business park.
I can find no confirmation on the Blackburn Cycling club website.
I presume this is related to continual tacking.
Can anyone from BBN confirm?
End of Kew Boulevard Time Trials?

Wrong lama... Created much confusion when I started racing!
Change possibly due to the tacking reducing numbers racing, but also possibly due to the new policeman in charge of the area. Last year we nearly didn't get the permits due to the extra red tape he introduced!
I haven't been to a race committee meeting in a while so can't confirm if one or all of the above was the cause.

I remember hearing there was issues getting last years series set up.
Disappointing, that was an unusually unpleasant but fun course.

I've always wondered why is the word lama that you use and Llama which Shane uses is so attractive for a cycling blog? I assume both of you refer to this http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lama_%28genus%29" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
or do you refer to this http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lama" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; if so why?

Was Shane's high school nickname. You would have to ask him or better yet his school mates why.
Mine as it is my surname...

It seems the planned TT run by Blackburn cycling club at Carribbean gardens are no longer on their calendar.
Before I email the club directly, does anyone here have any info?

I emailed them, nothing has changed. They are still looking at other locations, the 1in20 is still scheduled for the 27th of September and the Donna Buang ITT will be rescheduled.
