Darwin bunches

Postby systermb » Fri Jan 03, 2014 10:02 pm

I'm moving up to Darwin (Tiwi) at the end of the month on a 12 month contract for work. I am keen to join the local cycling scene.

Any tips on the best way to go about this?

Any good bunches that happily accept new riders?

Cheers

Hi,
Welcome to the topend. I know Blue Cycles have rides on monday nights. Best contact them at the Berrimah shop. Don't know about the other shops though. There is the Darwin Cycling Club, I think they have some rides.
Make sure you ride out to Howard Springs road on the bike path, parrallel to the Stuart highway, great easy ride.
Cheers steve
